A quick tour through our
historical facility

Our hotel is centrally located in our beautiful old town, neighbouring Quedlinburg’s historical town house as well as the stunning market square. This position makes it a perfect starting point for exploring our various tourist attractions on foot or by using the popular “Bimmelbahn”, a street compatible tourist train.

The facility itself is a half-timbered house built in the 17th century. While renovating the house, we concentrated on sustaining the original identity with it’s medieval charm. Ecologic materials as well as keeping the original essence combined with state-of-the-art comfort ensure high quality living.

For example the historic hall floor, which was renovated and renewed carefully. Ceilings and walls were plastered with clay and decorated with ecologic paint, as well as artwork, to ensure an enjoyable stay. Our furniture is kept in a plain Shaker-style and crafted in a stylish, natural way. Each room is designed and decorated individually.

Our intention is to make our guests feel warm and comfortable by carefully designing and decorating every part of our rooms.
